VINDURA

our story

VINDURA was formed in 2016 as a way to bring adventure endurance events to Pulaski County in southern Kentucky, provide support to various local organizations and fund some of our own adventures. Our focus from the beginning has been trail runs, adventure races, off-road triathlons and orienteering style events. The roots of VINDURA are in adventure racing which dictate the style of low-key yet fun events.

We try to offer something for everyone, from the person who wants to finish their first 5K to some of the most competitive runners in the region.

Our staff are not only race directors but we also athletes. Aaron and Travis have been racing and training together since 2014 in both competitive road cycling and then adventure racing. In 2024, Lisa Hays joined the team as a staff member, racer, and running coach. The rest of our story is yet to be written as we are just getting started.
